INTERACT partner University of Alaska Fairbanks has an open position for a postdoctoral researcher in climate variability/dynamics. This full-time position will have two years of funding, with potential for a third year, and will be located in Fairbanks, Alaska. The successful candidate will be part of a collaboration between Alaska EPSCoR (Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) and the Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center (AK CASC). The postdoctoral fellow will work on investigating the predictability of summer fire weather conditions using observational data as part of the of the Alaska EPSCoR project.
