Work Package 2, the Station Managers’ Forum, has submitted a deliverable report entitled D2.9 Repository with selected climate data from INTERACT stations integrated in INTERACT GIS. It can be downloaded below.

INTERACT station managers have developed a climate data repository, focusing on key variables like temperature and precipitation. The system, built using Copernicus’ API and Python script, allows for continuous data updates for both existing and new stations. Climate data is graphically displayed for each station, comparing individual years with historical climate normals from 1961-1990 and 1991-2020. THe repository is designed for easy, automatic updates, ensuring real.time access to current and accurate climate information. This development supports improved climate monitoring and research across the INTERACT network, enhancing the understanding of Arctic climate changes.
