INPA’s first event: Observing, Understanding and Responding to Arctic Change, will be held on the 4th of December in Brussels, hosted by the Mission of Monaco to the EU. The event is the occasion to officially launch the new INTERACT Non-Profit Association, the legacy of INTERACT.

The event will be introduced by the Ambassador of Monaco in Belgium and from INTERACT, including Prof. Dr. Terry Callaghan CMG, founder of INTERACT. The talks will be followed by a panel session where different experts in ground-based research, remote sensing, Indigenous knowledge, and policy, such as EEAS and Saami Council, will discuss how INTERACT NPA could help in responding to Arctic changes and evolving challenges of the region in cooperation with the different Arctic stakeholders. The evening will conclude with a reception, offering a valuable opportunity for attendees to network with panelists and fellow participants, exchanging ideas on the future of Arctic cooperation.

The event is a Side Event of Arctic Futures Symposium 2024, held in Brussels from the 2nd to the 3rd of December, 2024.
