Topic: The webinar will provide the participants with basic knowledge on drones and their research use in ArcticDefinitions of the Arctic vary according to environmental, geographical, political, cultural and scientific perspectives. Some scientists define the Arctic as areas having a high latitude, long winters, short, cool summers,... environments, including the opportunities and challenges related to the use of drone technologies

The webinar topics include:

  • Drone facts, overview and legislation
  • Drones in the INTERACT framework
  • User cases, examples and best practices on using drones in the field work
  • Resources, opportunities and challenges related to the use of drone technologies in Arctic environments

If you are interested to give a short presentation (10 min) about your own experience on using drones in the webinar, please express your interest for that in the email!
