We are happy to welcome yet another station to the INTERACT network. Qaanaq in northwest Greenland, owned by the Danish Meteorological Institute, is located just at the outer perimeter of the city of Qaanaaq and connects different other infrastructures in the region including an isolated magnetic observatory. In the latter years they have been active with an ocean and cryospherePlaces on earth where water is in its solid form, frozen into ice or snow. This includes polar regions but also high altitude areas (high mountains). In a region's winter,... More monitoring (sea-ice and snow).
