Although the quality of forecasts in the ArcticDefinitions of the Arctic vary according to environmental, geographical, political, cultural and scientific perspectives. Some scientists define the Arctic as areas having a high latitude, long winters, short, cool summers,... More is improving it still lags behind the quality of forecasts in the mid-latitudes. The aim of this deliverable is to demonstrate the utility of data collected from INTERACT stations for evaluating and improving weather forecasts by using it to evaluate forecasts at a number of pilot sites.
