A Memorandum of Understanding has been written between INTERACT and Kola Science Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. With this MoU the exchange of knowledge and fostering of the creation of synergies in ArcticDefinitions of the Arctic vary according to environmental, geographical, political, cultural and scientific perspectives. Some scientists define the Arctic as areas having a high latitude, long winters, short, cool summers,... More research between facilities and researchers will be especially encouraged.
