INTERACT hosted a session titled ‘Minimising Environmental Impacts using Different Modes of Access in Polar Research’, together with the EPB at the 11th SCAR Open Science Conference (19-23 August 2024 in Pucón, Chile) 23 August in block 3. The aim of this session was to facilitate knowledge exchange on access modalities and research practices between ArcticDefinitions of the Arctic vary according to environmental, geographical, political, cultural and scientific perspectives. More and Antarctic regions, highlighting work from EU-funded projects like INTERACT III & POLARIN, and from organisations like EPB, COMNAP, and APECS.
