Torbjørn is the scientific leader of Finse Alpine Research Centre and an Associate Professor at Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis at University of Oslo. He is a population ecologist and works with both theoretical and empirical studies, and not the least methodology and statistical modelling.
