Alexander Culley

Alex Culley is the head of the Viral Discovery and Ecology Laboratory (ViDEL) in the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Bioinformatics at Laval University in the City of Québec, Canada. He is particularly interested in the investigation of the diversity and dynamics of viral communities in polar aquatic environments. Current sampling efforts are focused on the lakes and coastal regions of the Northern coast of Ellesmere Island and Northern Québec. More often than not, you will find him working in the INTERACT research station on Ward Hunt Island, NU during the summer.
