The EU funded project ARICE (ArcticDefinitions of the Arctic vary according to environmental, geographical, political, cultural and scientific perspectives. Some scientists define the Arctic as areas having a high latitude, long winters, short, cool summers,... More Research Icebreaker Consortium) offers fully funded transnational access to research icebreakers. It has now opened its first call for ship-time proposals to access the icebreakers PRV Polarstern, CCGS Amundsen and RV Sikuliaq . This call will remain open until the 5th of July 2018.
